Description
Anyone who passes by stone pine trees, which have a round shaped crown, in Portugal is easily tempted, to look for its pine cones on the ground, to see if there are any pine nuts. Take them out of the pine cone and break them, either to enjoy directly or to make a sweet with them.
I remember making it when I was little and learning from my chef uncle how to make a wonderful pine nut.
These pine cones made from scratchboard take me there, those times that I still remember today.
In addition to my memories, it is a symbol widely used in ancient and modern art and architecture and also in various ancient cultures.
